Bajans vs Aliens

Run away… run away…

Based on how Bajans react when confronted with an exotic animal in the “wild”, I have a pretty good idea how an alien invasion to Barbados would play out.

Imagine if an alien materialised by the bleachers near the hard courts in Deacons around mid-morning. The dialog would be riveting.

“Wait. What de RH is dat?”

“Uh uh… it look naaasty.”

“I see one o’ dem on TV already.”

“Youuuu. Dat ting almost touch me, yeah.”

“Hit he wid dat big rock!”
