Sexiest Bajan Ting Award
I wasn’t aware that People Magazine was a serious authority on sexiness. I always assumed the proclamation of Sexiness Man Alive was a joke to be honest. Just fluff in a fluffy publication.
So I am gobsmacked to realise that there is outcry by the general public, including Bajans, about Blake Shelton being named sexiest man alive. Folks really seem invested in this to the extent of serious emotional outbursts. However, some of the reactions are hilarious I have to admit.
Anyway, now that I realise that these things are taken seriously, I am jumping on the bandwagon with the first annual:

2017 Winner:
Income Tax Refund
How's that for a statuette? Suck it Golden Globes!
There is nothing that makes Bajan men and women smile like when Income Tax Refund arrives. However, the Kbecistan editors acknowledge that this might be a controversial choice since not everyone really gets Income Tax Refund. But in our estimation, by the middle of next year, most people will suddenly start of see Income Tax Refund the way we have.
In previous years, Income Tax Refund was very common – everyone expected to see it at some point each year and it never disappointed. However it has become more selective in its appearances recently. This elusive quality has only added to its allure… its mystique.
Even when people don’t see Income Tax Refund, they are thinking about it or talking about it. Even children must be intrigued by Income Tax Refund when they see its effect on their parents. Very few can get that type of buzz.
Make no mistake, Income Tax Refund is always great to look at. Even though it would be the first to admit that it experiences fluctuating body type like everyone else, whatever the size, Income Tax Refund is a joy to see.

By the way, the other nominees were that coy temptress: Election Date Announcement; the muscle body with the greatest increase in mass: NSRL; the judge's perennial favourite Do Dixie by De Devil; and Rihanna.
