Just One Goblet, Lord
My knowledge of the Bible is via the King James Version I read as a child in the Anglican church.
As an adult however, I discovered that other versions of the Christian Bible varied wildly from that one. There are some passages and books that exist in other versions of the Bible which Protestants (who follow the King James Version) didn’t believe were inspired by God, and so were excluded from that text. For example, there are 11 entire books which are accepted by the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Christians that don’t appear in the King James Version.
After giving it some thought, it was obvious to me that the version of the Bible I was familiar with must be incomplete, especially in the New Testament. Aside from the glaringly missing passages covering Christ’s life between ages 12 and 30, there is much missing from his later life.
For instance, I guarantee that when the disciples discovered that Jesus could turn water into wine, there were plenty of requests for repeat performances.
I mean it would have been all the time. And it's not like they didn't drink wine, we know they did. Andrew in particular used to roll with John the Baptist, and you know JTB was a wild man.
I can’t imagine they would pass any body of water without one of them (probably Andrew) nudging the Messiah and saying, “Come on, just one goblet.”
Where are THOSE missing passages?
I’m probably going to hell.
